Square Miles' two prominently located City of London offices are located next to major tube and rails stations in the hub of the financial services community which also happen to be next to two of London's most famous markets. These famous markets, which used to provide the City with fresh food are now themselves hives of social activity. Old Spitalfields Market, is a world-famous East London destination; home to a flourishing creative community attracted by fashion, arts and food make this area a prime 'hang out' for fashionites, art lovers and food lovers alike. The world famous Smithfield’s meat and livestock market has been around for 800 years. These listed buildings are now surrounded by a plethora of bars, restaurants and world famous nightlife.

The Smithfield’s and St Paul’s area offer so much in terms of historic attractions including, the old Bailey, St Paul’s Cathedral and the many other Wren buildings saturate the area. World leading companies such as Merrill Lynch/Bank of America and BT have large offices in the location. Places to relax and eat also play a big part; Carluccios, and Smiths of Smithfield are some of the city professionals favorite haunts.

Spittalfields, the City of London & East London are equally as appealing. This is where you will find some of London’s largest financial institutions; Royal Bank of Scotland, Deutsche Bank & Barclays all have their headquarters off Bishopsgate. For relaxation the bars and restaurants of Spittalfields offer something different. Brick lane is also very popular for bar goers or just to for late night curry. This area also has some of London’s finest Georgian property and was a regular haunt of Jack the ripper!

Educational requirements are met by the City of London School which is located on Queen Victoria Street and has history dating back to the time of Henry V.

East London is also situated on the doorstep of the city and typically called the East End. Bethnal Green, Bow, Stepney are the real East London and within easy commute of the city. These areas offer a more residential feel. Schools, green spaces with excellent transport links to the city make this one of London’s most sort after areas.
