Buying through us

It is easy for estate agents to forget who their clients are – the client is always the vendor of a property. To do our job to the maximum benefit of our vendors we seek the best prospective purchasers. If you are serious about buying the best property in an effortless way as possible (and don’t just take our word for it – ask our sales managers to show you our feedback forms from hundreds of satisfied purchasers) here are some suggestions:

  1. John Hollingsworth is regulated by the Office of Estate Agents – this gives you recourse in the unlikely event that something goes wrong
  1. We are do not own a mortgage broker – this means that there can be no ‘leakage’ of information provided by yourself in confidence to your mortgage broker to the vendor, which could affect your negotiating position
  1. We will reflect any and all offers from prospective purchasers to the vendor – unlike other agents we will not force you to see our in-house mortgage adviser before doing so – we don’t have them
  1. Unlike many agencies we don’t routinely overvalue properties that we take on – this clarifies the process and provides a better basis for negotiation between vendor and purchaser
  1. As one of the most active estate agencies in our area we are best placed to provide both the vendor and purchaser with comparator information to enable a fair price to be arrived at for the sale
